wish they would've done the same for inser and cilic last night, actually

no way they'll resume actual play at 9:25, though. stadium isn't even close to full yet, and no sign of the player coming on court to warm up.

Things have fallen quite nicely for me so far.

Roger winning. Serena winning. Raonic losing. Pospisil winning. Isner losing. Petkovic losing.

But with 4 active TSN channels each with ~9 hours of tennis, it's been tough squeezing it all in. You have to be selective.

I forgot Wimbledon has that stupid curfew. Did not think the match would finish before 11 but Monfils made quick work of Simon in that set so it should be done by 11

Yeah it is stupid. The only reason they moved it to CC is because of middle sunday off. Yesterday they knew they could fit Isner/Cilic in at somepoint today. Stupid thought process IMO. It would be better for players if you move their match to CC instead of playing it the following day after being suspended due to darkness.

Isn't it funny how since they built the roof on CC that it doesn't seem to rain all that often anymore at Wimbledon lol

it's freak show central when they play, and never about tennis.

i won't watch, but i will hope that serena is able to hold her emotions together enough to win, because venus has zero chance of winning the title.

the rest of the matches throughout the day, as usual, look pretty fucking amazing.

first, my comments were not aimed at the regs on here who post about tennis at a bunch of tournaments like you.

to address your post, it's just never about tennis when they play, and i've seen them play every match at every major they've ever met up at. it's been awhile since it last happened, and i just have zero desire to see it.

imagine crushing the dreams of your closest friend who happens to be your sibling. that's what the winner has to do.

i like drama as the result of excellent competition, not as the result of that. it would be cold and stupid to expect anything else from them in terms of quality, either. this is an individual sport, not a team sport like when the mannings meet up.

He's fun to watch, but I think he could've made a slam final if he were a little more disciplined.

pretty crazy how few rainouts there have been. looks like moving it a week later set it up for even drier weather. pretty good for fans!
