So how do we decide the winner?

Browns win more games you "win" sort of. If the 49ers win more games I "win" sort of. I get the feeling winning is going to feel like losing, so this is going to be interesting.

Just did a quickie as a reference based off of the 2014 regular season. Winners of games where the sample is less than four in overall OoDR will be put in parentheses instead of put in long form. I am going with the phrase "Only as strong as the weakest link" after narrowing it down to 2 divisions. It came down to AFC North and NFC West and, going by last season, I think the Browns will be better than the 49ers, but then again, the 49ers do have a better QB now.

I have a feeling I will have plenty of change of hearts over the offseason.

I corrected it for you. The Niners already have fourth place wrapped up.

I wouldn't say they have 4th wrapped up. As long as Kaep is there, their offense is still dangerous. Defense will still be strong. Do I think they will be playoff team? No. Do I think they will be better than .500? Possibly.

Niners will still be good, just not amazing like they have been in the recent past.

this seems to be the perfect thread to prove the NFL's parity. I could make an argument for several divisions, then looking at it another way make a case against those same divisions.

The best overall division is the AFC north IMO.

But they play both conferences western divisions. So the overall record isn't going to show it.

The AFC East has a cake walk schedule this year playing the AFC South and the NFC East so they will probably have the best out of division record but as I said that to me doesn't make them the best division.

What is talk about the AFC North? The only reason three teams went to the playoffs, and of course didn't do much in the playoffs. Because in 2014:

Steelers opponents had a winning percentage of a pathetic .451, only the Cowboys and Texans had an easier schedule.
Ravens opponents had a winning percentage of .475, only Steelers, Lions, Cowboys and Texans had an easier schedule.
Browns opponents had a winning percentage of .479, only, Steelers, Ravens, Lions, Cowboys and Texans had an easier schedule.
Ravens opponents had a winning percentage of .498

They won't have three double digit win teams this year, last years records was kind of a mirage.

SOS is not that relevant in the NFL. Teams don't decide who, when, or where they play any team during the season, unlike CFB.

This is the end of last season results. The Cowboys opponents ended with the least wins, then the Texans, then the AFC North teams.

Sure they can't decide who they play, but the AFC North teams took advantage of what turned out to a very favorable schedule. There only playoff win was a divisional win.

Save this quote, the AFC North will not have three playoff teams for the 2015 season

LOL what a joke.

AFCN, the only division to have 3 teams in the playoffs last year and home of the greatest rivalry in the NFL....
And I also predict that the Browns are in the mix this yr....
As for your minor league NFCW, Cards win that Div this yr and Rams second....Hawks and 9'rs don't even make the playoffs, Book It !!!!!
