Shane Ray Busted For Drugs

I hope his stock drops & he is there for the Cardinals when they pick. The Cardinals had him for a visit & workout. At the time, I was thinking it was a waste of a visit because he was going to be gone way before the Cards draft.

Pretty sure the missouri cops did this so the Rams could get him in the third round. After the draft they will dismiss all charges. A brilliant move.

The issue is less the weed and more the judgement and ability of a player to refrain (or at least be smart about WHEN or HOW they do smoke) once in the NFL. No one cares if they smoke, unless it impacts their ability to play. The rules are there. Until they change, you have to play in the framework of them.

There's talk he may fall all the way to the fourth round. Wow. This isn't (just) about smoking/possessing pot. It's about doing so two days before draft day.

Don't see that at all myself. 2nd round seems more likely.

Pot doesn't make him a 'bad' guy, it does make one wonder about his decision making and judgment. Some teams will remove him from the board completely but there are others who need that talent enough to take the chance I can even see the skins doing it if he fell that low.

The pundits are so desperate for the Redskins to draft a pass rusher at #5, the top 6 or so pass rushers could all be busted for a group weed smoke session tomorrow morning and they would still have us drafting one of them with the pick.

And sadly some of our fan base would be right along with them.

To be fair, it is a hole on the team. As is the Oline. As is FS, MLB, CB, RB etc...

Bottom line, we need good football players. I'm not trying to be trite or use a cliche. Sometimes it is that simple.

Yep, Gruyere cheese like holes. Hopefully, there are some answers on our current roster like Jeron Johnson at FS, and Spencer Long at RG. But that may be a lot of wishful thinking.
