Everyone post who you think will be selected in the first round. You will get 1pt for every correct pick. Below is the first round draft order. Just add the player and position next to the team you think will take him.

Whoever has the most correct picks will receive $1,000 Hoop Cash

Maybe there should be negative points for predicting a trade that doesn't happen. If not you'll have people predicting 20 trades and that won't be fun to keep track of... Just my :2cents:

Well if they think that Browns trade their #12 and #19 for Redskins #5 and it doesn't happen then they won't earn a possible 2pts for correctly picking when the browns had the #12 and 19 pick. So you can predict there will be 15 trades and you move the teams around per their pick and the trade doesn't happen then your out 1 possible point. Does that make sense?

Whats the latest we can turn these things in? I know I won 2 years ago partly because I waited until about 2 hours before the draft when rumors were coming out

Maybe the picks should hold a different value instead of being all valued the same.

EX... Picks 1-5 are worth 3 pts : 6-10 5 pts : 11-15 5 pts : 16-20 7 pts : 21-25 9 pts : 26-32 11pts... something like that...

I agree that's why I took it off the first page. No trades just straight up 32 picks.

I had an idea if anyone is interested. Giving bonus points for consecutive picks correct. So lets say the draft went #1 Winston,#2 Mariota,#3 Williams,#4 White,#5 Fowler. Lets say my top 5 went like this.

#1 Winston 1 point
#2 Mariota 2 points
#3 Williams 3 points
#4 Cooper 0 points
#5 Fowler 1 point

As you keep getting consecutive picks correct you keep going up by 1 point each pick. If you get a pick wrong you start back at 1.

So it doesn't matter what team picks but the actual pick #? Ps. I like your idea and I also like Milks idea that picks 1-5 get a certain amount of points, 6-10 get more PTS then 1-5 and so forth. Maybe we combine the ideas.

So we all list pick 1-32 and pick the player you think will go then. It doesn't matter if the team trades the pick or not its the pick # that counts. So if you think Mariota goes 2nd it doesn't matter if its Titans who take him or if they trade the pick to someone as long as he goes #2 then you get the points. About the points I say it goes like this

Pick
1-5 = 2 point
6-10 = 4 points
11-15 = 6 points
16-20 = 8 points
20-25 = 10 points
26-32 = 12 points

Thoughts?

How about this combination of all good ideas...

1-5=1 point
6-10=2 points
11-15=3 points
16-20= 4 points
21-26=5 points
27-32=6 points

getting 3 or more correct in any grouping(1-5,6-10,11-15,etc) points get doubled...

for example if i get 3 correct from 6-10 then i get 4 points per correct call...

all wrong picks of more than a 5 pick differential gets a -1

all wrong picks who were drafted in a later round gets a minus of whatever round that player was taken in

I'll agree to 3 in a row in a group gets the doubled the group points. But what happens if someone gets 3 in a row and it's not in the same group like they pick correctly the 4th, 5th pick which are in first group then they also pick the 6th pick correctly which is in different group? I am not a fan of negative points. It's hard enough to correctly pick 5 times so it really would suck if you get punished 28xs you pick incorrectly. Just my thought on it and will do what ever the majority wants.

how about this then, we do 3 scores:

score 1 How many correctly chosen in the top 32(correct order does not matter) for example if i think Mariota goes 2nd but he really goes 10th i still get the point of Mariota

score 2. total differential
if i pick Mariota 2nd but he goes 10th then that is an -8
if i pick Mariota 10th but he goes 2nd then that is an -8

Score 3- How many correct picks in the correct slot.

Each score gets ranked 1- # of contestants and then the 3 scores get added up

Lowest added up score wins

Im not a fan of giving 12 points to just one pick right from picks 26-32. Someone could get the least amount of picks right but win cuz they got a few at the end right.

Correct just like March madness. It's harder to pick the final 4 then it is the first few.

if a player is not picked in the first round then the differential will be based on 33
if i pick melvin Gordon at 25 but he is picked in the 2nd round(anywhere in the 2nd round) he would be 25-33=-8

if he goes in the 3rd round he would still be 25-33...

I don't like being picked anywhere in the 2nd round or later is the same penalty...
