Shame Bernie is such a prick and makes Audi refuse to enter F1. They've already ousted Dr Piech, who was the last hurdle from the corporate side. Now only Bernie-bot stands in the way for Audi to step in.

I'd like to see Audi and BMW enter F-1. VW owns Audi and they need to be in F-1 for a lot of reasons. BMW has not been in F-1 since 2009 and they won a championship in 2006. So yea, both would be good for the sport and we will see what Haas brings to the table in a year.

Here is the newest entry of Gene Haas into F-1. Actually, its their showcar but one like it will be competing in F-1 in 2016. Not too shabby. No mention of who is going to supply power. Could be Honda. Here's the link

It also speculated that Danica is in line for a seat (good Lord please NO!!!!).

I agree. She's already a fish out of water in NASCAR or nearly so. F-1 would be a cluster screw-job of a mess of guargantuan proportions. It would be totally ridiculous for Haas to do all that work and then culminate his efforts with a boneheaded move like that.

He does have a point. F-1 is rapidly becoming a corporation-controlled, sterile product basically resembling test sessions. That's what I like about IndyCar. They are way more flat-out then F-1 and that is why anybody can win on any given race in Indycar.

Looks like the NOLA race maybe in trouble for future races. That disaster that started the season apparently has some crap going on behind the scenes and Andretti is suing the company that set-up the venue. Here's the link.
