Apparently everyone else is catching onto what we all knew when the trade was made. Dud better be awesome or this was another waste of a pick and trade.

Yeah, the next closest trade was the Eagles right after the Rams.

They moved up 10 spots, gave up ;2) 2nd’s and got a 3rd and swapped 5th round picks.

The Rams could’ve done a similar trade and it would’ve made way more sense.

I’m glad they are super excited about pairing Verse and Fiske together again, but think they could’ve waited a bit longer to trade up, thus costing them way less.

I think the ShitferBrains Twins might be liking the First Round. I don't think they said much about screwing the picks and maybe that nonsense is dying or has died especially if Verse works out and is better than Young right out of the box.

Maybe the Panthers weren't looking to trade down and that was what it took to get them off the pick? They did trade back up 6 spots from 52 to get Brooks. Two other DTs came off the board before 52, so I doubt he would've lasted. Maybe they get him later than 39, but we'll never really know unfortunately.

Yeah, he wasn’t lasting till 52, but think they could’ve got him in the high 40’s and cost them way less.

Much like the Eagles trade right after the Rams trade.

At least the Rams didn’t have the worst trade in the draft. Most NFL pundits have missed the gravity of this trade because part of the trade happened before the draft.

In the end, the Vikings sent their second-, fifth- and sixth-round picks in 2024 and their second-, third- and fourth-round picks in 2025 to add Turner. By the Stuart chart, this deal is a nightmare. They paid more than double what the No. 17 pick typically returns. They gave up something close to the equivalent of the No. 1 pick in a typical draft to land Turner by the Stuart chart

Well, it looks like the Vikings gave-up twice what the Rams did so perhaps all of this is a mute point.

They also could have traded up to get a 5’8 170 WR as well so the fact that they went LOS I am happy. Fiske could have went earlier as well. Its all a crap shoot but remember their 2nd rounder last year and that pick was very good

Yea, sure is SJ76. Fours years ago we took a little turd of a WR over an incredibly stellar Center named Creed Humphreys who is the foundation for the greatness for one Patrick Mahomes. Two Snooperbowl wins later we still have a super fragile little turd and the Chiefs have two rings. The Chiefs got a great player and we have a fragile little turd that plays once and awhile.

Look at the Rams top WRs and where they were drafted. That’s their bread and butter.

First 2 rounds they need to keep focusing on LOS or anything on defense imo — stud LB or DB is ok with me.

That RB we got in the 3rd round is going to be a beast too.

LB Neal is another Speights. About the same size and smallish!

Well, ALR. It appears everyone that has an opinion all favor Fiske so we will have to wait and see if they are all right.
