I have been thinking of starting a running thread about Washington football history for some time.

We have some historians and wise folks in general here.

I wanted to give it a try. Posters will post questions about team history or the current team and we will see who gets the answer right. Of course anyone can post a question. The poster of the question will let the board know who gets the answer right. This can be a running thread with no time constraints of course.

Scouts honor for everyone....no googling answers..lol

Skinsdad, please delete if this is a waste of time.

My question:

What college have the redskins/commanders drafted from the most in their team history?

Lotta Notre Dame guys back in the day. That was my first thought but I didn't have a big enough pair to say it. dad did.

Reminds of something I was thinking about the other day .... sports was so much more fun in the days of the newspaper. You didn't have so many options so you studied (I did) the paper until you wore the ink off of it.

Funny, I would have said Notre Dame too, but thats only bc I believe Theismann was from there.

Either that or Bama, because approx. 4/5th of the team is from Bama. Or the SEC. Or Ohio State.

I am waiting for you, breed or sty to come up with something impossible..lol

BTW, did you watch "All the light we cannot see" yet on Netflix? I think it's the same author who wrote the book you recommended to the board?

Cloud Cookoo Land I think?

Now that dad has answered I Googled to see who ...

Joey T was the best from there
Jim Snowden
Tom Carter
Reggie Brooks
Ralph Guglielmi - 4 years at QB

Most of the guys were drafted in the 40s and 50s and not here long. So it was a good question.

Didnt watch it. Bad reviews, no?
On first episode. So far, so good.

The series is based on a blind girl who works for the French resistance and an SS officer attempting to find her.

Monk, Brown, Garrett. Who was the fourth member of the "Smurfs." No Google please.

BTW I would have guessed BAMA on the last one, but ND was my second choice.
