This sounds like a song and dance I have heard before from EA.Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is a single-player story game with no multiplayer - and no microtransactions • Eurogamer.net
No microtransactions, no loot boxes, no multiplayer.
Buy a game once and play it.
What a concept.
Ooh there is no way in hell I'd preorder it.This sounds like a song and dance I have heard before from EA.
Looks better than the last 3 movies, so it's got that going for it.
I think this game is going to 100% be potato.... I just don't trust EA anymore with their single player games, and I'm sure this will be riddled with DLC after 3 days for $4.99-$9.99. And I'm sure there will be a $99.99 'premium version' with 'cool skins bro!'. The trailer and gameplay looked INCREDIBLY boring.
EA will naturally pay off mainstream review Companies, so this will probably get some 8 to 10 rating, when in actuality it's a 4 and a wait for a $15.99 sale in 1 year.
Final Fantasy 7 remake on the other hand.... OOOOOOOOOOO!
Anybody pick this up? What's it like and is it worth it?
Yes, I have it and am enjoying it, but it can also be VERY frustrating at times. It's a kind of mix of the older single player Star Wars games/titanfall/Uncharted and Tomb Raider. At least that's how I would describe it. It's one of those games where as much as I'm enjoying it, I just don't see how much i will play it after i finish it, so $60 seems a bit steep.
How would you compare it to previous SW games? Fwiw, I haven't thought any of the SW games have been particular good since the Knights of the Old Republic franchise
