Donnie Dumbo has got to be the worst manager in the game. Why is he still around? Built-in scapegoat for ownership?

I am getting a bit frustrated with Boch. He has not won a championship in almost 6 months. The bum.

Why did the Padres get rid of Bochy in the first place?

I was living here at the time, and I think his contract was up, wasn't it?

I remember I was disappointed with the ?Giants getting him. I was not impressed with what I saw from him with the Puds. Now I understand what he does and it makes sense, though. He tries to win 11 games, not 90 (or 95, or 100, or whatever). The regular season is just extended Spring Training in his eyes.

I thought he was okay with the Padres, but the team must not have thought so and let him walk.

Small ball got old and Bochy's contract was up. It was inevitable.

The Padres picked up a game on the whole division yesterday. Those days are going to be rare this season.

Speaking of... what's up with Yasiel? Rehab shut down again??

Hamstring issues can bother you the entire year. Maybe now he'll stop running like it's a triple every time a ball barely squeaks out of the infield. Don't get me wrong, I love the way he plays but maybe he should save that type of baseball for the playoffs and not the 10th game in a 162 game season.

Real shame he won't be in the line up next week. I'm real bummed about it.

The Dodgers' Kenley Jansen just became the 69th person in major league history to strike out four batters in an inning against the Colorado Rockies.

Must suck for the Rockies. Any other orgs with more 4-K innings against them?

The pant-shitting implosion continues in SD, only this time, it's with a poorly constructed fantasy team.

So Clayton Kershaw sucks again. That's getting to be a habit. The choking continues from last October when he cost the Dodgers the pennant.

The doggies will soon really put to test the theory that a championship can be bought. They have already essentially purchased the island of Cuba, now we will see many of those pieces traded off in the coming months for guys like Cueto or Hamels (or both).

The Giants success over the few years have made it an absolute REQUIREMENT that they get a ring in the next few years. The problem with this strategy is that it ignores culture and chemistry.

Will it work? Gawd I hope not. But they may just be able to acquire enough talent that chemistry will become a moot point.
