If i understand this correctly,
Looks like in the AFC, The 1, 3, 5 seed is clinched..... the rest is up in the air.... I ASSUME NO TIES IN MY ANALYSIS.... TIES WILL COMPLICATE EVERYTHING
the 2 is between the Dolphins and Bills... whoever wins this week gets the 2 seed...
If the Dolphins lose then they simply go to the 6 spot....
If Bills win then we have an easy scenario
1. Ravens
2. Bills
3. Chiefs
4. A
5. Browns
6. Dolphins
7. B
where A is the winner of the AFC south
and B is either the Steelers/Jaguars/Texans/Colts
If Jaguars beat the Titans they win the division...
If Jaguars lose, then winner of the Texans/colts game win the division
the 7 seed
If the Jaguars win the division
then the winner of the Colts texans, gets the 7 seed
If the Jaguars dont win the division
Steelers get the 7 seed with win, Jaguars get the 7 seed with loss
If the Dolphins win then we have a very complicated and fun scenario
1. Ravens
2. Dolphins
3. Chiefs
4. A
5. Browns
6. B
7. C
A has the same scenario as shown above...
In any tie between Bills, Texans, colts, Steelers
the tie break goes Colts then Texans, then Steelers, then Bills
so if the Jags win the division the 6 seed will be the winner of the colts/texans game
If the Jags lose and the steelers Lose- then the Bills get that 6 seed
If the Jags Lose and Steelers win- then the Steelers have the 6 seed
The 7 seed can only be won by the steelers, Jaguars or Bills
If Jaguars win the division and Steelers win- then steelers win the 7 seed and BILLS DONT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS
if Jaguars Lose the divison and the Steelers beat titans- then Bills win the 7 seed JAGUARS DONT MAKE THE PLAYOFFS
if the Jaguars
With the Jaguars and Steelers both being Favourite to win this week... If the Bills dont beat the Dolphins, then they will most likely be knocked out of the playoffs...
Dont remember the last time i saw a game where the winner gets the 2 seed and the loser doesnt make the playoffs...
