Makes sense. They play Dallas and Seattle at home during the regular season which gives them a great shot at winning some tie-breakers for home field advantage.

Not sure I would say the smart money is on the Cowboys as one good season doesn't usually mean long term success. The last two times they had double digit wins was followed up by a season of missing the playoffs. Arizona and Pittsburgh look like the smart bets to me. Arizona has had double digit wins the last 2 seasons and one of those missing quite a few pieces with one of those being the starting QB. They were pretty aggressive in FA this year so they should be even deeper this year with so many young players getting starting experience last year. Pittsburgh should be returning a top-3 offense and is a franchise that has shown pretty consistent play from one year to the next. Both of them being at 25-1 odds seems pretty good to me.

Only 1 time in the last 10 years has the preseason Superbowl favorite won the Superbowl. That was the Colts in 2007. Not putting much stock in preseason Superbowl odds.

Brady likely won't be himself after this last scandal. He's going to crack under pressure and probably have a bad statistical season. Just my opinion, but it matters nonetheless.

Mr Rodgers needs to get past his buggaboo the last couple seasons. Namely the LOB. It's sure easy putting up historic numbers vs the bears defense but when the defense bites back he's been pretty average.
