I'll be annoyed if the Devils don't swing a deal that involves some of their young D or picks to get some young talent up front. They have 7 or 8 young guys that are either on the team or on the cusp of making the team and their isn't room for all of them. Combine that with the fact that we currently only have 3 or 4 worthwhile forward prospects, none of which look like top line guys.

I think the Habs are going to try hard to sign Jeff 'PK' Petry to a new contract, but if he hits free agency, he's gonna get paid.

I think it was puckdaddy that had an interview with the guy doing generalfanager a couple weeks back and the intention is to get the same cap calculator tools that capgeek had ... ie build your own team ... make trades ... buyout calculators

looks like hockeyscap.com is the first "replacement" site with an armchair GM and buyout calculator

Oh please make it so...

Alexander Radulov, the former Nashville Predator and current captain of the KHL’s CSKA Moscow, could be on his way back to the NHL in time for the 2016-17 season.

According to a report from Russian website Champion.at, Radulov’s agent, Yuri Nikolaev, said that not only would Radulov be eligible to return to the NHL in 2016-17 but that he has already been contacted by Colorado Avalanche coach Patrick Roy regarding the possibility of coming back to North America.

“Who was his coach (in the QMJHL?)”
Nikolaev told Champion.at. “Patrick Roy, who now coaches Colorado. So, Roy phoned (Radulov) and says that he is waiting for the next season. Yes, (Radulov) can leave after next season.”

That is, indeed, the connection for Radulov and Roy, as he coached the Russian winger during his tenure in the QMJHL with the Quebec Remparts.

From the link in the tweet:

"What a great organization the Leafs are, and getting Babs there is going to make them such a contender," said Duchene, who wants to spend his entire career in Colorado. "They have so many great players, it's going to be fun to watch a big market like that have a resurgence."

Well Duchene is a good boy from Ontario, so I'll allow it :D

I'd rather see an over the top offer by the Oilers for Ehrhoff's services...

Toews and Kane > Crosby and Malkin

Discuss.

(think of the traction this would have gotten at the swamp)
