Could be a nice move for us.

Only downside is that's 1 of our 3 2016 scholarships gone. If Henry doesn't go pro or no one transfers.

Got Hauser. But still in on multiple other talents with only 1 scholli left.

Houston added three JC transfers: a 6-9 PF, a 6-10 PF, and a 6-2 PG. Also signed two 3-star recruits, a 6-10 C and a 6-1 PG. Very hopeful that Sampson has rebuilt the team into a competitive squad for the first time in far too long!

We have lost a lot of good players (i.e., Tashawn Thomas, Joseph Young, Daniel House, and Alandis Harris) due to having three different head coaches the past three years. Really hope that Sampson sticks around a while.

UMass lands Canisius transfer Zach Lewis | CollegeBasketballTalk

UMass received a commitment from a volume-shooting transfer guard on Tuesday as Canisius sophomore Zach Lewis pledged to the Minutemen. The transfer was first reported by Adam Finklestein of ESPN.com.

While the 6-foot-3 guard will have to sit out the 2015-16 season due to NCAA transfer restrictions, he will replace some guards who are leaving the year he’s allowed to set foot on the floor for two more years of eligibility.

Lewis led the Golden Griffins in scoring last season at 12.5 points per game and saw his field-goal percentage drop to 33 percent from the field and 31 percent from 3-point range. He was also a third-team All-MAAC selection. With a season of being able to redshirt, Lewis could become a nice rotation member to the UMass backcourt after he further develops and has some more scoring help.

Trey Davis and Jabarie Hinds will both be gone from the Minutemen backcourt by the time Lewis is eligible, so he’ll take one of those spots in the rotation.

I'm guessing he has to sit out a year since he isn't graduating and provided he doesn't get a hardship. He has a lot of talent though(top 40 recruit in 2014). USC is going to be very good IMO in 2016-2017. And will be vastly improved going into this year. Enfield is accumulating a lot of talent.

Yep, he has to sit out this upcoming season.

I'm very excited about our future, everybody on our roster is young and likely not heading for the Draft anytime soon. I've got to hand it Enfield and his staff, they've recruited out the ass and brought in a ton of talent. McLaughlin, Stewart, Jovanovic, Reinhardt, Aaron, Metu, Boatwright have all been brought in the last 2 years and still have at least 2 years of eligibility left. The future is looking bright.
