Rough couple weekends for Cats' Baseball. I was listening to Saturday's game on the radio, but I had to call it at the end of the 9th because of an ealry Sunday morning wake-up. Last night we just couldn't stop their bats. Hoping for some form of salvation tonight. One thing is clear though, we need to step up against the top teams.

Sloppy defense. We made 5 errors but our offense was automatic. Still need a lot of work to make the post season.

Scott Kingery wins Pac 12 player of the year! 6th in UA history. Kingery, Dalbec, and Newman all make first ten all Pac 12 and first team all defense.

Kingery and Newman are projected 1st round draft picks.

Congrats to Kevin Newman and Scott Kingery!! Newman got selected #19 overall in the first round by the Pirates and Kingery got selected #48 overall in the second round by the Phillies.

Looks like their both heading to the state of Pennsylvania.

Don't know if you guys knew but Robert Refsnyder, MVP of our national title team in 2012, made his mlb debut last week for the Yankees and had two hits including a homer. He looked real good. Congrats to him.

I saw that he was getting called up and would play, but I didn't see the highlights of what happened. Thanks for that. Shit, nothing like your first hit in the bigs to be for the Yanks against the Bo Sox, and your first HR our of Fenway. Damn, what a night for him! BTFD!!!!!

Figured I would bump this since college baseball literally starts tomorrow for us. We open at Rice at 5pm. I believe you can stream it live. Many people are picking Bobby Dalbec as Pac 12 POY. Arizona is projected 9th in the conference though. Excited to see how our new coach handles things. I think he's going to do well, maybe not right away but I think he was a good hire.
