After some research I found that I didn't even need the box. I just installed the Kodi apk to my Galaxy Tab S and installed a bunch of add-ons.

Better not to get tempted by the banned add on. Course what those banned add on do, is why lots of folks want a platform like this in the first place. Get some thing for free, that normally you pay for. Stay legal, not worth the risk, to get a little some thing for free, that you should be paying for IMO. Not to say I've never ever crossed that line.
