I will look into it. I have been listening to local talk radio and there has been nothing but great stories and tributes to Tark. The guy was really something else, and took on the NCAA long before anyone else had the balls to. Now it seems everyone thinks the NCAA is a steamy pile of shit.

Other news, if you guys havent heard, Rashad Vaughn maybe out for the rest of the season, and they are hoping to possibly have him back for the MWC tourney. Shitsville week for rebels fans.

CBS is reporting that the casinos are in fact "dimming the lights" in honor of Tark.....

After I posted that comment yesterday I found an article on ESPN saying that some casino's on The Strip will dim their lights in honor of Tark @ 10:30 after the game. The casino's mentioned are...Caesars Entertainment group, MGM Resort properties, the Cosmo, the Stratosphere, Tropicana, Venetian & Palazzo.

Fuck Steve Wynn. He's a complete asshole. Years ago he lied about how he got his fortune, saying he's a self made man when in fact his father had Mob ties. Add in the fact he never liked Tark & was on Maxson's side in getting rid of Tark the Shark & just the thought of Wynn makes me ill.

Well with Rashad out, we cant win shit. Even he comes back, we wont win four straight in the tourney. Season is pretty much over. Fcuking sucks.

They looked good against UNM although the Lobos aren't all that good this year. I still enjoy watching them play. They're so young and athletic, but yes it has been a disappointment again.

Again the depth on the team is not deep, 7 players on scholarships, 2 walk ons,

they need to make a major step forward next season, or we could be looking at another coaching change..

I really hope they do something next year. It just sucks. I was even trying to maintain my expectations at what i thought was reasonable. Those expectations were still way too high. Rice needs to grow into the job soon. I dont want to cut bait on him, but fans here are fucking nutty. I dont see us getting anyone better from a recruiting stand point. He wont get through 2 more years like this.

It's well over due for the program to have been back in the national spot light, this isn't gonna be an easy task, they need quality on that bench, these younger guys need to come back next season and play like 5th year seniors, it sucks for Rice, but they gotta get into the tourney next year and at least sniff the sweet 16...

Next season the team should be much deeper and more experienced. The way I see it

Jerome Seagears- PG transfer from Rutgers. RS this season
Ben Carter- Transfer from Oregon. RS this season
Daquan Cook- ACL tear RS this season
Patrick McCaw- Back for second season
Dwayne Morgan-Back for second season
Goodluck- Back for second season
Wood- Back for Junior year
Rashad Vaughn- Back for second season
Jordan Cornish- Back for second season
Derrick Jones- 4 star recruit for his freshman year

We loose Doolin and Kendrick. If we get one of the 7 footers we should dominate.

Am I missing anything or something im not aware of? Anything less than NCAA tourny is a massive dissapointment for 2015-16 season.

Love watching McCaw play. He's so mature and so smooth out there. He has a nice, silky jumper from long range too. Coach's son. Great player.

He is the best all around ball player we have. The kids can do anything we need him to do, and he's a freshman. My favorite active player by a country mile.

I think losing doolin and kendrick will be addition by subtraction. Kendrick never did look like he lived up to his talent. Glad he made it through a couple seasons, he had a bumpy road coming in.
Next year will be better, but i dont know if vaughn comes back, or wood for that matter.

It is definately a possibility that Vaughn and Wood enter the draft. I actually think Wood has more value to an NBA team than Vaughn does at this point. If they both enter the draft Wood gets drafted before Vaugn does at this point. I think a lot of NBA teams veiw Wood as a for sure mid 1st rounder and Vaughn as 2nd rounder.
